Established in 2018, Cats United WA is a Perth Cat Association run by a committee of dedicated, hardworking volunteers who pride themselves on providing great service to their members, and running organized and fun cat shows. The main objectives of this cat association are:

• To promote in every way responsible ownership and welfare of both pedigree and domestic cats;

• To encourage responsible breeding and improvement of the standard of pedigree cats;

• To encourage the exhibition at shows of both pedigree and domestic cats;

• To hold shows;

• To award titles to qualified pedigree and domestic cats; and

• To welcome new members to our association and our shows.

 

Cats United WA is run by volunteers who process registration and pedigree data, and manage the day-to-day running of the association. We have some fabulous cat breeders as members as well as pet owners.  There are many cat clubs affiliated with Cats United WA, as well as qualified Judges and Stewards.

Membership entitles you to:

• Exhibit cats at cat shows run by Cats United WA and its affiliates in WA and other states of Australia;

• Receive the news from the association and join our members only facebook group where we share valuable and interesting information for cat owners;

• Be involved in promoting responsible cat ownership;

• Request to be a candidate to be trained and appointed as a Cats How Steward or Cat Show Judge (Note: A minimum number of years' experience as a breeder and exhibitor is required).

Are you an existing breeder?  You can transfer to Cats United.  The process is simple.  We provide a full pedigree for all of your litter registrations and use electronic forms and email submissions.  

 

Cats United WA is a member of the Co-Ordinating Cat Council of Australia (CCCA) which has member registration bodies from all states in Australia, and is a member of the World Cat Congress.

Our association is also a named association in the regulations to the WA Cat Act 2011
